We increase safety and potential in schools

A school is a large workplace. Every day, a multitude of children and adults come together to collaborate and achieve educational goals. To reach long-term and sustainable learning, the conditions for a learning-friendly work environment must be in place: empathy, inclusion, safety, positive relationships, and a calm atmosphere.

Together with Equally Different, 200 primary and secondary schools in Sweden, Åland, and Finland have improved daily life for thousands of students and school staff.

Equally Different certification

After ten years, Equally Different’s certification for schools has become a natural symbol of quality for primary and secondary schools that systematically strive to create inclusive, empathetic, and healthy work environments for all kinds of individuals. All primary and secondary schools that work with Equally Different’s Values Year—a holistic and conceptual values-based program for students, school staff, and guardians—over three consecutive academic years become certified.

Measure and evaluate social and economic impact

Expectations and demands are increasing for organizations to ensure operations that contribute to sustainable value creation. This applies to everyone—businesses, municipalities, regions, non-profit organizations, and social entrepreneurs. Measuring, following up, and evaluating operations based on the three dimensions of sustainability is a key starting point in this work.

To meet these expectations, the Equally Different team has completed a comprehensive, research-based training that provides practical knowledge and concrete tools for measuring impact and value creation—both social and economic.

The training is provided by Skandia Ideas for Life in collaboration with Uppsala and Umeå Universities.
